WAPDA Marriage Grant Clarification for BPS-16

SUBJECT: MARRIAGE GRANT OUT OF WAPDA WELFARE FUND REFERENCE: Your letter No.399 Dated: 15-04-2019 In this regard the following observation has been noted: Marriage grant is not allowed to the Wapda employees of BPS-16 and above. Serving Wapda employees are not entitled to Marriage Grant for 2nd time. Marriage grant is not allowed to retired Wapda employees excepting those retired on Medical Ground. Marriage grant is not allowed to the Retired Wapda employees. Marriage grant is not allowed to the contract employees. Marriage grant during daily wages period is not allowed as per W.W.F rules. WAPDA 186-WAPDA House, LAHORE No. GMH/Admn/QR-22/-23 | 10416-S0 CIRCULAR In accordance with WAPDA compendium 2016, Vol-I, Chapter No. 05 regarding admissibility of overtime allowance, it is reiterated that employees who are granted overtime allowance under these orders will not be entitled to any bonus / honorarium. All offices under your administrative control please be advised to comply the standing instructions with true letter & spirit to avoid any audit objection.
